Hadley Girl

Women's Quilt Jacket #51

$424.00
Size:
Classic

This hand-pieced Double Wedding Ring quilt dates to the late Depression or early World War II era, when the pattern became one of the most beloved designs in American quiltmaking. Constructed from dozens of small cotton prints—many consistent with feed sack fabrics—the quilt reflects a time when resourcefulness and creativity went hand in hand.

The interlocking rings symbolize marriage, continuity, and endurance, making this pattern a popular choice for wedding gifts. Though the maker remains unknown, the quilt speaks clearly to the skill, patience, and optimism of American women who transformed everyday materials into lasting works of beauty.

Hand quilted and hand pieced with a beautiful pastel and olive green palette. This quilt is a thin, lightweight, and has a little loft. The backing is a beautiful creamy white. If you have further questions, please direct message us and we are happy to send you a video.

The shawl collar allows for several different style options. This jacket is meant to be worn right side up or upside down.

Fit features slouchy shoulders and a generous drape.

As an example, I am 5'7 and wear the classic, while a petite will work best for those 5'4 and smaller :)
