Hadley Girl

Women's Quilt Jacket #53

$464.00
Size:
Classic

This quilt is made in a Fan, or Half Dresden Plate, pattern using small pieces of printed cotton fabric arranged in curved shapes. It was likely made between 1925 and 1940, a time when Dresden-style quilts were very popular in the United States. The soft pastel colors and delicate hand stitching reflect everyday fabrics and careful home craftsmanship of the era. Quilts like this were often created from fabric scraps and used both as warm bedcovers and as decorative expressions of creativity in the home.

Hand quilted and hand pieced with a beautiful pastel palette. This quilt is a thin, lightweight, and has a little loft. The backing is a beautiful bright white . If you have further questions, please direct message us and we are happy to send you a video.

The shawl collar allows for several different style options. This jacket is meant to be worn right side up or upside down.

Fit features slouchy shoulders and a generous drape.

As an example, I am 5'7 and wear the classic, while a petite will work best for those 5'4 and smaller :)

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
